Nakonde Woman Bites Husband’s Private Parts in Brutal Domestic Fight

Residents of Nakonde District in Muchinga Province have been left in shock after a domestic dispute between a young couple turned violent — resulting in a man having his scrotum ripped open by his wife’s teeth.

The victim, Michael Mulenga, a 20-year-old clearing agent of Ntindi Village, is currently admitted to Nakonde District Hospital, where he is receiving treatment for the serious injury.

According to Muchinga Province Police Commanding Officer, Dennis Moola, the incident occurred on Wednesday around 23:00 hours, when Mulenga returned home intoxicated after a night of drinking. His wife, Rabbeca Mutale, reportedly became furious and confronted him about his late return and drinking habits.

The couple got into a fight after the wife started shouting at him for returning home late in a drunken state,” Mr. Moola said.

What began as a verbal exchange quickly escalated into a physical altercation, with both parties reportedly struggling violently. In the heat of the moment, Rabbeca allegedly bit her husband’s scrotum, tearing the skin and leaving him bleeding profusely.

Panicked neighbors, who heard screams coming from the couple’s house, rushed to the scene and helped the injured man get to the hospital. Police were later called in, and the matter was officially reported.

Medical personnel attending to Mulenga described his condition as serious but stable, confirming that he had sustained deep lacerations to his scrotal area, which required emergency treatment.

Meanwhile, police have opened an inquiry into the matter to determine the full circumstances leading to the violent attack. It is not yet clear whether Rabbeca has been taken into custody, but sources close to the couple indicate that she fled the scene immediately after realizing the extent of the injury she caused.

The incident has sparked widespread discussion in Nakonde, with many residents expressing shock at the extreme level of violence within a relationship. Others have described the act as “inhuman” and a sign of growing domestic tensions in the area.

Community leaders and gender activists have since urged couples to seek counseling and resolve disputes peacefully, warning that domestic violence — whether by men or women — continues to destroy families and lead to tragic consequences.

“No matter how angry you are, violence should never be an option,” one local counselor commented. “These are young people who could have solved their problems in a better way, but now one is in the hospital and the other may end up in jail.”

As investigations continue, Mulenga remains hospitalized, while police say they are tracing Rabbeca Mutale’s whereabouts to assist with their inquiries.
