The 2025 Zamtel Social Media Awards came to a thrilling close, celebrating Zambia’s most creative and influential digital voices. From lifestyle and comedy to music and corporate collaborations, the awards highlighted the growing power of content creation in shaping conversations and culture. The biggest winner of the night was none other than Ba Matero, who made history with a clean sweep across six categories, cementing his place as one of Zambia’s most influential online brands.
Ba Matero walked away with multiple accolades including the Zamtel Incorporated Content Creator Award, Best Facebook Content Creator, Best TikTok Content Creator, Best Comedy Content Creator, Best Corporate/Influencer Partnership (with 1xBet), and the prestigious Content Creator of the Year title.
Other big winners included Mutale Mwanza, who reigned supreme in the lifestyle and fashion space, clinching Best Instagram Influencer and Best Lifestyle Content Creator, while music superstar Yo Maps bagged Best YouTube Content Creator, proving his digital influence extends well beyond the stage.
