BREAKING: U.S. President Trump Says Iran’s Supreme Leader Is Dead

In a dramatic escalation of regional tensions, Iran’s armed forces have launched coordinated strikes targeting U.S. military bases located in several Gulf countries, including Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain. These actions come in response to recent military operations by the United States and Israel against Iranian territory, marking one of the most significant confrontations between Tehran and Washington in years.

According to reports, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) fired missiles and launched drone strikes at key U.S. military installations across the region. Among the sites reportedly hit were Qatar’s Al-Udeid Air Base — a major American strategic hub — and the headquarters of the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain. Other installations in Kuwait and the UAE were also targeted as part of what Tehran described as a “retaliatory operation.”

The strikes represent a significant escalation after coordinated U.S.–Israeli attacks earlier in the day against Iranian military infrastructure, including missile sites, air defenses, and command centers. Iranian authorities framed their offensive as a legitimate act of self-defense in response to what they characterized as foreign aggression against their sovereignty.

Governments in the Gulf have swiftly condemned the attacks. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE each denounced Iran’s strikes as violations of their national sovereignty, with some announcing full support for collective defense measures. Several countries temporarily closed their airspace to civilian flights amid the military activity.

U.S. military officials have confirmed incoming attacks, though initial reports suggest that advanced air defense systems intercepted many of the projectiles aimed at American facilities. At this stage, there have been no confirmed reports of significant U.S. casualties, although the strikes have heightened concerns about broader instability in the region.

This latest confrontation underscores how quickly localized conflicts can expand into wider regional crises, drawing in multiple nations and raising fears of an extended military confrontation. International calls for de-escalation and urgent diplomatic engagement are increasing as leaders seek to prevent further escalation.
