Vini Jr Slams Racists

Vinícius Júnior has once again spoken out strongly against racism following the latest incident during a match involving Real Madrid.
The Brazilian star did not hold back.
“Racists are, above all, cowards. They need to put their shirts in their mouths to show how weak they are.”
He went further, criticizing not only the individuals involved but also those responsible for taking action.
“They have protection of others who, theoretically, have a clear obligation to punish them in these cases.”
Vini made it clear that what happened is not something new to him. Sadly, it has become part of his experience in football. He also questioned the decision to book him for celebrating a goal.
“I received a yellow card for celebrating a goal. I still don’t understand why I got that card.”
Despite a big win for Real Madrid, the focus shifted once again to racism in football rather than performance on the pitch.
“Nothing that happened today is new in my life or in my team’s life… I don’t like to appear in situations like this, after the big win when headlines should be about Real Madrid… but it’s necessary.”
This isn’t just about one match. It’s about accountability. It’s about whether football authorities will truly stand firm against racism or continue with what Vini described as “poorly executed protocol.”
