Davido’s ‘5ive Alive Tour 2026’ Kicks Off With Back-to-Back Zambia Shows

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido is set to launch his ‘5ive Alive Tour 2026’ with a major double stop in Lusaka, Zambia. The tour poster confirms two consecutive dates in the capital, making Zambia the opening leg of his African run. Davido will perform alongside ECool, kicking off what promises to be one of the biggest live music events in Zambia this year.
The first show is scheduled for May 1 at Ciela Resort in Lusaka. Ciela has become a go-to venue for high-profile concerts, known for its open-air setup and capacity to host thousands of fans. The resort setting suggests a more premium, festival-style experience to open the tour, likely with VIP tables and high production value.
Davido follows up immediately with a second Lusaka performance on May 2 at the Polo Field Show Grounds. The Polo Fields are a staple for large-scale concerts in Zambia, offering more space and a classic stadium-style crowd. Doing two different venues back-to-back lets the tour hit both a resort crowd and the wider general audience in one weekend.
The back-to-back Lusaka dates show how strong Davido’s Zambian fanbase is. Most international artists do one show per city, but doubling up signals huge demand and confidence in ticket sales. It also gives fans who miss day one another chance, or lets die-hards attend both nights for a different setlist and vibe.
After Zambia, the ‘5ive Alive Tour’ heads to Conakry, Guinea for shows on May 8 at Chapiteau By Isa and May 9 at Esplanade Du Palais. But Lusaka gets the honor of launching the tour, putting Zambia front and center on Davido’s 2026 calendar.
Tickets are available at http://DMWHQ.COM/TOUR. With the May 1 date being tomorrow, expect Lusaka to be buzzing this weekend as Davido brings hits like ‘Unavailable’, ‘Feel’, and tracks from his ‘5ive’ project to the stage. For Zambian fans, this is the biggest Afrobeats moment of 2026 so far.
