Ndine Emma Speaks Out on Vumbwi Dating Rumours After Birthday Photo
Rapper and comedian Ndine Emma recently cleared the air during his appearance on Diamond TV’s ON THE TABLE with Chimweka, stating that he and fellow comedian and singer Saliyah Miyanda, also known as Vumbwi, have never been in an intimate relationship.
“What do you mean exes? Haha, naimwe bakamba imwe haha, ex wabandani?” Ndine Emma jokingly responded when Chimweka mentioned seeing his ex Vumbwi at his birthday party.
The 24-year-old rapper explained that the rumours started after Chimweka posted a picture of him with his hand on Vumbwi’s shoulders at T LOW’s album listening party. At the time, both were in separate relationships, and the speculation made their partners uncomfortable and their interactions awkward. He added that the rumours persisted because they were often seen together at radio shows, traveling, and performing, leaving them little energy to address the gossip. “We’ve never dated before,” he reaffirmed.
Ndine Emma admitted that some of his social media activity may have unintentionally fueled the speculation, such as calling himself Vumbwi’s “favourite person” and using red heart emojis in her 2023 birthday post. Nevertheless, he stressed that he and Vumbwi have never been intimate and that the situation was simply a misinterpretation of two friends hanging out.
