Ministry of Health Zambia Hands Over 31 Vehicles to Strengthen Health Service Delivery

The Ministry of Health has officially handed over 31 vehicles to provincial and district health offices across Zambia in a move aimed at improving service delivery and operational efficiency. The distribution of the vehicles is expected to significantly boost the mobility of health teams and strengthen programme implementation nationwide.
The vehicles were procured with support from the Global Fund under the Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health (RSSH) component. This initiative focuses on reinforcing health systems to ensure they are better equipped to respond to public health needs and emergencies.
Health officials say the additional fleet will enhance supervision, monitoring, and coordination of health programmes at both provincial and district levels.
